Network Marketing or Multilevel Marketing – somehow you did hear already something about, or you know someone, who did „try“ it once. Opinions divert in three groups: those who see in this a gorgeous opportunity to increase their own income; others think that this cannot function and there are also those, to whom this is a snowball- and or pyramidal system and therefore illegal. But, who do are right at the end?
Actually each one of them are right. Every Network Marketing Company has own strategies, products, rules and Marketing Plans and right there you may recognize, with which company a cooperation is worth and with which not. To the last ones counts those illegal systems, to which we will refer further ahead.
In Network Marketing, you are your own boss and you do work independently. Just as in every business, independency has advantages, request a good portion of automotivation and perseverance. Most of them who did fail in Network Marketing gave up too early. They didn't succeed while contacting 3 or 4 potential customers, then they did capitulate. Main responsibility goes obviously to Network Marketing System. Others refuse this without actually knowing differences to illegal snowball- and pyramidal systems.

Network Marketing – What is this actually?
Network Marketing is opening a new own business. Investment needed for this is much lower than for starting a franchise-business or for starting a retail store. Network Marketing offers a good opportunity to become an entrepeneur easily and without assuming higher risks.

Nowadays in order to launch a product, there are enormous costs to afford for means of advertising, rent for commercial facilities, wholesalers, intermediaries, storage rooms, human ressources, etc. These costs become part of the price, that has to be paid by end user. Most of these costs are ommited in a Network Marketing. Product is advertised as recommendation among users and costs for expensive advertising campaigns drop out(Network Marketing is also known as Recommendation Marketing).
Costs ommitance reverts an advantage to both: the user due to lower prices and it reverts to a bonus for Networker. There are two kinds of bonuses: Active Earnings to be achieved through retail margin on product sell and Passive Earnings for developing an own structure. A Structure describes the distribution net, that consists of vendors, who start their own businesses. Passive Earnings arises from product total sales of the own structure.
Active Earnings
Every Sales Agent procures products from their partner companies at wholesale price. After reaching a Manager Position he buys directly from Akuna. In both cases, products will be further offered under addition of a retail margin. This retail margin reaches 10% to 40%.
Sellings is solely at a starting phase an issue. In which acquiring business partners and customers is required, and they need to get acquainted with the product. Monetary Earnings in Network Marketing won't be achieved by direct sells, but by developing a structure. Top-Earners in Network achieve their financial goals passively.
Passive Earnings
In order to recognize Passive Earning Opportunities a Network Marketing may offer, you must analyze Marketing Plan of the Company. This contains Rules for calculation of Bonus. Qualitative Network Marketing Companies make possible, after few years of development of a structure, having enough earnings out of the structure, so that these become a safety income, without having to do much about.

Life works however not only according no mathematical principles. Statistics on the other hand let you expect a success ratio of 20%. Even if opportunities are given, as in any other business rule says: no pain, no gain. You need therefore perseverance and effort.
Why do some misunderstand Network Marketing?
Some people act immediately sceptical upon hearing Network Marketing. They compare this with forbidden systems, even if they don't really know the difference between these ones and serious Network Marketing.
Snowball Systems
In order to join a snowball system, participant must pay in a certain fee. There are no products or any other means of return for investment. Only possibility to „win“ is introducing further participants. Their fees, a .k. a. „Reward“ will be shared among other participants. Reward is in most of EU-Countries forbidden.
In some cases, products without a real commercial value will be sold to extremely high prices, in order to let this look like a Network Marketing. Regrettably this has given Network Marketing in general a bad reputation. If you pay proper attention to these facts, it is rather easy to recognize a snowball system.
Pyramidal Systems
A pyramidal system works with structures too, but here the higher your placement in the structure is, the higher your earnings are. You earn on everyone standing below you in the structure.
Lots of people do not accept, that others profit of their performance, without realising that in a business' environment every hierarchical structure is built up as a pyramid. This way chefs do profit of performance of every one of his/her co-workers. There are some levels in between, that differs on respective income.
In Network Marketing, even if at the first glance it seems to be a pyramidal system, earnings do not depend on how far up, one has climbed the structure. Until which level a bonus is to be paid depends on the own performance, and this is always restrictive. Therefore it is not quite seldom that earnings of Networkers in a structure are higher, than those of others placed much higher than themselves in the structure.
How does Network Marketing Work?
Some make a serious mistake upon start, burning out good contacts. As a consequence: they give up too early. If one respect some basic rules, Network Marketing is a simple issue. Some start by convincing and persuading acquaintances and relatives to join the Network, or try hard to sell the product, whereas 90% of us have no sellling skills and 95% are not willing to buy. Network Marketing neither consist in convincing nor in persuading.
